In order to strengthen the process of classroom observations made by the officials and the BRTES and to make decisions based on the data points from the observations made, a mobile application "Palli Paarvai" has been developed and has been rolled out as a pilot in Chennai and Tiruvannamalai districts.
Based on the feedback from these two districts, certain modifications have been made in the application and it has been decided that the usage of the mobile application shall be extended to four more districts viz, Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Namakkal and Salem districts.
In order to orient and sensitize the BEOS, APOS, PAS to CEO, DI, DIET Principal, all DIET staff, District Coordinators, EDC and BRTES of these four districts, it has been planned that the DEO, BEOS and BRTES of Thiruvannamalai district shall be deputed to these four districts on 17.02.2023 in the ratio of 1:10 to provide training and hands-on support on usage of the mobile application.
At the end of the training, school visits shall be planned to the nearby schools accordingly and the trainees shall be asked to do classroom observation and enter their observation remarks through the Palli Paarvai mobile application as part of the training.
In view of the above, the CEOs of these four districts are requested to organize the training at the district level for the BEOS, APOS, PAS to CEO, DI, DIET Principal, all DIET staff, District Coordinators, EDC and BRTES on 17.02.2023 and plan for classroom observation in schools nearby the training location.
It is also requested to coordinate with CEO, Thiruvannamalai district and inform the details of the venue of the training programme to be conducted in order to ensure that the team from Thiruvannamalai district is aware of the venue for the training to be conducted in the four districts respectively. The details of the trainers for each of the four districts from Thiruvannmalai are as follows:
The CEOS of the four districts are also requested to make necessary arrangements for refreshments, lunch and travel for school visits, etc accordingly. It is also requested to share the details of the expenditure incurred towards this training programme to the State Project Office before 28.02.2023 so as to release the funds to the districts.
